Tupac Shakur’s Brother Mopreme Shakur Says Late Rapper Almost Signed To Bad Boys Record

Tupac Shakur’s brother Mopreme Shakur is claiming the late rapper was close to signing a deal with Bad Boy Records before signing to Death Row.

“We were cool with them at one point. There was a point ‘Pac was considering going to Bad Boy before his relationship with Death Row,” Mopreme told The Art of Dialogue.

He continued, “He wanted to be on a Black label. He wanted to be with his people. He wanted to be with the brothers. He supported Black business.”

“There was a period where we were all cool. Over time, things happened and ‘Pac started seeing things. Biggie was on Puffy’s label so with them two, it was Puffy calling the shots. There was some legitimate problems there.”

Keefe D was arrested for Pac’s 1996 killing and Keefe has claimed Diddy put a hit out on the West Coast rapper. Mopreme has claimed Diddy called him to deny any involvement in the fatal shooting.
