Kimora Lee Admits She Was ‘Embarrassed’ That Her 21-Year-Old Daughter, Aoki, Hooked Up With A 65- Year-Old Restaurateur

A month ago, Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee Simmons’ daughter, Aoki Lee Simmons, made controversial headlines after she was spotted kissing restaurateur Vittorio Assaf, during a romantic vacation to St. Barts.

Eventually, it was later confirmed that the 21-year-old model was dating the 64-year-old founder of Serafina Restaurant Group, Vittorio Assaf.

Aoki’s mom Kimora Lee, previously reacted to the news on Instagram. She posted a video of a frustrated mother bear dragging her baby back to base. On getting there, the baby bear jumped out again and went back to the streets.

“On my last nerve right now,” Kimora wrote on the video at the time.

TMZ recently caught up with her and she was asked about her daughter’s controversial romance. When asked if she knew about the older man or it was a surprise to her as well, Kimora replied saying:

“It’s a loaded question.. she began. “She’s a young pretty girl. I think we don’t think the toads that we may kiss are going to be broadcast as a thing. And I personally feel a little bit like she was set up, which is why I try to teach the girls.

“Where you a little bit embarrassed or was like it’s what it is?” the interviewer asked. “Probably both.. I probably was a little bit embarrassed but you know me I’m definitely like ‘it is what it is’… Momma’s got your back.”

Kimora then revealed she does the allowances and is yet to up her daughter’s allowance regardless of the incident. The question seems to be in regards a resurfaced video of Aoki threatening Russell Simmons that she’ll get a sugar daddy if he didn’t up her allowance.
