Megan Thee Stallion Drops ‘Suga’ Album Amid Label Drama
Megan Thee Stallion Finally Drops ‘Suga’ Album
Megan Thee Stallion has been at loggerheads with her record label boss. Meg has eventually dropped her debut album “Suga” on Friday morning as opposed by her label.
Megan went head to head with her label, 1501 Certified Entertainment this week, and after a judge denied the label’s request to block her from releasing music.
Megan took to Instagram to celebrate the judge’s decision on Thursday and shaded both 1501 Ent. CEO Carl Crawford and J. Prince for trying to bully her.
“FACTS ARE FACTS AND THE FACTS ARE PUBLIC ‼️ I’m extremely pleased that 1501 and Carl Crawford were denied the request to dissolve the Court order and try to stop my music from being released. I will proceed with the release of “SUGA” On Friday March 6,” she wrote in the post.
“To be clear, I will stand up for myself and won’t allow two men to bully me, I am NO ONES PROPERTY. Y’all are choosing to highlight the issue of music splits…talk about everything else. This has nothing to do with anyone else including JAY-Z, stop deflecting and trying to make this a publicity stunt, I want my rights,” she added.
Megan Thee Stallion also recently appeared on ESPN’s “First Take” with Stephen A. Smith. During her segment with Molly Qerim, Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman, she shed some light on her upbringing and the ongoing legal issues with 1501 Certified Entertainment before briefly talking about her beloved Houston Rockets.
