Ja Rule Claims He “Musically Influenced” 50 Cent
Hip Hop fans went wild when Ja Rule challenged his longtime rival 50 Cent to a hit-for-hit battle on Instagram live during a recent conversation with Fat Joe and Swizz Beatz.
But 50 Cent declined and laughed at him instead, he shared a clip of himself smiling and driving off in a car on Instagram, with a caption that reads, “Who want to battle, and here’s a moment of silence for the still sick and suffering. LOL.”
Fif also clowned Ja Rule with a photoshopped picture of the rapper holding a placard that reads “I will battle 50 Cent for attention,” insinuating that Ja Rule only wants to battle him to for clout.

Rule has since clapped back at the Power executive producer, sharing a photo of 50 Cent with “Shook Ones Pt. II” by Mobb Deep playing along with the caption “COWARD.” He then shared a screenshot of a separate article about 50 Cent’s reaction with the song’s hook playing.
On Thursday, Rule took it even further by positioning himself as one of 50 Cent’s prominent influences on his career. Ja retweeted a post by ‘Ebro In The Morning’ that shows DJ Kast One and Peter Rosenberg playing his and 50’s hits to determine who the winner would be.
“Haha cute lil battle,” Ja responded, “but let’s be honest I musically INFLUENCED 50… let’s talk about!!! Lmao.”
