Ne-Yo Changes His Mind On Divorcing Estranged Wife Crystal Renay Smith

Rumors on Ne-Yo and his wife Crystal Smith divorce was fueled when a clip of Crystal Smith and Black Ink Crew Chicago cast Ryan Henry getting close in the club surfaced online.

It immediately went down the rumor mill, folks online believe that she’s done with the popular R&B star and has moved on to dating the reality star.

Couple of months ago, Ne-Yo confirmed the rumors, revealing that he and Crystal Smith are getting a divorce. He made it known during an interview on the ‘Private Talk’ podcast. “slowly but surely becoming public knowledge” that he and Crystal are, indeed, filing for divorce,” he said.

“It’s not a sad thing, it’s more of a us realizing- long story short, I’m never gonna talk bad about her. I’m not that person. There’s nothing bad to say about her. She’s a fantastic woman. She’s the mother of my children and she’s always gonna be that and I will always respect her.”

Well, new reports from Bossip has it that, Ne-Yo has gone to the judge in charge of his divorce and has asked them to dismiss the case completely, without prejudice. Essentially, Ne-Yo no longer wants a divorce from Renay although he is allowed to refile all of the paperwork should things go down the drain.

Although there are no official reports on why the singer changed his mind, there are rumors circulating as of late that the two have been spending time together in quarantine and are helping each other raise their two kids.
