6ix9ine’s Billboard Chart History Removed After Manipulation Accusations
Tekashi 6ix9ine has been on Billboard’s neck, fighting for the #1 spot on with his record breaking single “GOOBA”. 6ix9ine is trying to beat Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande’s collaboration for the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
He has earlier taken to Instagram to send Billboard a message. “@billboard We’re watching this very closely. The world is watching very closely, we love you and always supported the charting,” he wrote.
Couple of days ago, the rainbow haired rapper accused Billboard of manipulating the charts in favor of Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande. “Imma make this real quick, ‘cause I’ll be real disappointed if Billboard gets paid for No. 1s [and] somehow manipulate the charts,” he said in an Instagram video.

@billboard YOU’RE A LIE AND CORRUPT. YOU GOT CAUGHT CHEATING AND THE WORLD WILL KNOW.
And today, 6ix9ine shared his findings in a recent investigation into the Billboard charts. He and his team pressed Billboard about Ariana Grande’s and Justin Bieber’s new collaboration to find out that there were allegedly six credit cards used to purchase half of 60K units moved at the last minute.
As it stands, Billboard is yet to disclose who those alleged credit cards belonged to. Tekashi pointed to the number of streams that amounted to more than 50M and said that 20M got disqualified.
And just after 6ix9ine’s call out, it appears that Billboard may have removed his chart history completely. It’s currently listed as unavailable, or maybe it’s just a glitch on their end.
