PartyNextDoor Calls Cap On Frank Ocean & 6LACK’s Streaming Numbers
PartyNextDoor Reacts To Streaming Numbers Of R&B Artists Shared By DJ Akademiks
Although his name was still very much relevant, PartyNextDoor was absent from the music scene for a while before making his comeback to the music scene with a new project “PartyMobile’ couple of months ago.
A lot of R&B artists have emerged and are now buzzing in the industry. And DJ Akademiks recently took a look into the latest streaming numbers for R&B artists.
Ak was surprised to make a few discoveries. For one, he didn’t know just how impactful 6LACK has become. Although he didn’t make any observations about PartyNextDoor’s placement as sixth on the list, the superstar saw the post and left a shady comment.
Provided the statistics are accurate, that means that Frank Ocean remains the most popular R&B artist on streaming platforms, despite his musical inactivity in recent years. He is followed directly by 6LACK, Daniel Caesar, Bryson Tiller and Jacquees.
PartyNextDoor raked in 937 million streams, which is nothing to be embarrassed about.m, because that’s more than some artists will ever see in their lifetime.
But it appears he’s not trusting of the source, calling out whoever put the list together and determining it false news. He simply commented “Cap” on the report.
