Lil Wayne joined the list of celebrities to react on George Floyd’s death and recent protests against racism in United States. According to the Hip Hop icon, we could all be blamed for what happened to George Floyd.

“I think when we see these situations, I think we also have to understand that we have to get very specific,” Lil Wayne said during a recent conversation with Fat Joe on Instagram live.

“And what I mean by that is we have to stop viewing it with such a broad view, meaning we have to stop placing the blame on the whole force and the whole everybody or a certain race or everybody with a badge.”

Folks on twitter have also been dragging the veteran rapper over his comments. “F*ck what Lil’ Wayne said. Any awareness you bring to the awful things they’ve done/do to us is HELPFUL!  Every tweet, every t-shirt, every march, every riot in the name of justice brings awareness, a twitter user wrote.

“We live in a world where even his dumb ass suggested racism doesn’t exist.” Another user wrote: “Lil Wayne a coon for that shit I can’t fuck with bro no more.”
