Twitter Reacts To Kanye West’s Silence Amid Protests
Kanye West’s Silence Examined On Twitter During Protests For Racial Injustice
Kanye West has been open on situations like this in the past. But he’s been silent amid the ongoing protests and riots across the country, leading many to start wondering why he’s yet to issue a statement concerning the situation.
Kanye is a solid supporter of Donald Trump for the last several years, even holding meetings with him at the White House.
As social unrest and racial injustice hit new highs across the nation, Kanye has said absolutely nothing about what is going on in the country. Folks on twitter are reacting to Ye’s silence, calling the veteran rapper out for refusing to say anything.
On the other hand, some people are happy that he’s decided to keep his mouth close, noting that he probably would have made things even worse. NBA star Kendrick Perkins reacted on the issue, saying:
“I thought Kanye West and Trump were good friends?! NOW is the time for Kanye to pull up to the White House and have a sit down with old Donald Trump. Just saying…….”
Ebro Darden brought up the question this morning, asking: “And furthermore why is Kanye so quiet?” See some reactions below :
