Logic Announces Retirement : “Now It’s Time To Be A Great Father”
Rapper Logic is gearing up for the release of his sixth studio album which will also be his last. He took to Instagram today to announce that he is officially retiring from the rap scene after dropping five records, six mixtapes, and even a soundtrack to his novel.
Apparently, the married actor and proud father of one, is set to move on to the next phase of life, settling down with his family.
Couple of months back, he explained why he’s been on a break from social media in a post on Reddit titled “Logic Loves Y’all”, revealing that he’s just “been in such a creative zone” lately while working on new music, hence the hiatus.
“Breaking my social media rule for a second to tell you guys I love you so much and just been in such a creative zone working on everything to come,” Logic wrote at the time.
“You know me, I’m five projects and two movies ahead at all times lol. I hope you’re all being safe during this pandemic. Know that my heart is with you. I love you all and am excited for no pressure. Bars on bars on bars,” he added.
Taking back to Instagram today, he gave an update regarding his final album. “Officially announcing my retirement with the release of ‘No Pressure’ executive produced by No I.D. July 24th…,” Logic wrote in the caption. “It’s been a great decade. Now it’s time to be a great father.”
