Pop Star Britney Spears Gets Engaged To Longtime Boyfriend Sam Asghari

Congratulations are in order for Britney Spears after the Pop superstar announced that she is engaged to her boyfriend, Sam Asghari.

Britney Spears made the big announcement on Sunday that she was engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Sam Asghari.

The news was confirmed to The Times by Brandon Cohen, a talent manager for Asghari. “The couple made their longstanding relationship official today and are deeply touched by the support, dedication and love expressed to them,” Mr. Cohen said.

It’s double celebration for the singer. Just last week, Britney Spears’ dad Jamie Spears, agreed to end her conservatorship. According to reports, court documents were filed to terminate the 13-year Conservatorship.

Three months prior, Britney testified in court that she was not allowed to get married or have a baby because of her conservatorship. She claimed she had been forced to have an IUD installed.

“I want to be able to get married and have a baby,” the singer said. “I was told right now in the conservatorship I am not able to get married or have a baby,” she said.

“I just want my life back,” she said. “I truly believe this conservatorship is abusive. I don’t feel like I can live a full life.”
