Travis Scott Reportedly Facing $750 Million Astroworld Lawsuit From 125+ Attendees

According to TMZ, Travis Scott, Drake, Apple, Live Nation and others are now being hit with an enormous $750 million lawsuit taken against them by more than 125 fans, involving the family of one who died at the festival.

The suit, filed by Houston attorney Tony Buzbee, is the initial suit of others to appear and positions the blame on Travis and concert organizers for error in failing to appropriately plan the concert, train security personnel and host a safe event.

Among the plaintiffs is the household of Axel Acosta, a 21-year-old who was allegedly crushed by “incited, unruly and out-of-control crowd with such force that he could no longer breathe.”

Buzbee states, “No amount of money will ever make these Plaintiffs whole; no amount of money can restore human life. But, the damages sought in this case attempts to fix, help, or make up for the harms and losses suffered by these Plaintiffs — nothing more and nothing less.”

Travis and Live Nation proposed refunds almost instantly to concertgoers, and the case addresses that offer, naming it, “… a transparent and grotesque effort of the Defendants to limit their liability, after the fact, to the families of those killed or injured.”

Scott’s attorney spoke out on Saturday saying his client didn’t realize the severity of what was happening in the crowd while he performed. Snaps of cops taking photos and watching Travis’ show more than 25 minutes after the HFD Chief announced the concert a “mass casualty event” seem to back Scott’s claim up.
