Moneybagg Yo Speaks On Single Parenting Following The Passing Of One Of The Mothers Of His Children
About a month ago, one of Moneybagg Yo’s baby mothers Kennedy Lynette passed away.
“I’m so sickkk.. I’m heart hurting so bad dude. I was just otp with you my sister. Why you had to do me like that Kennedy Lynette why you leave me 💔💔💔,” Jessica Summers posted on Facebook at the time.
For the first time, Moneybagg Yo is speaking on her death. The rapper took to Twitter in a since deleted tweet to share about the hardship of single parenting.

“Single parenting hard especially when you tryna pursue your dream at the same time women are the real definition of queens. We can’t do this sh*t without y’all but sometimes we forced to,” he wrote.
“My situation I’m dealing with right now made me respect mothers even more,” he added.
Moneybagg Yo is signed to fellow Memphis rapper Yo Gotti’s record label, Collective Music Group (CMG), in a joint venture deal with Interscope Records. His first two projects to debut in the Top 20, Federal 3X (2017) and 2 Heartless (2018), debuted at No. 5 and No. 16 on the Billboard 200, respectively.
His third album, Time Served, debuted at number 3 on the Billboard 200 in January 2020, while his fourth album, A Gangsta’s Pain, was released in April 2021 and became his first chart-topping project.
