Yak Gotti Targeted & Almost Stabbed In Jail For Allegedly Snitching On YSL
Someone Tried To Stab Yak Gotti In Fulton County Jail Over YSL Snitching Rumors
Atlanta rapper Yak Gotti was reportedly targeted and almost stabbed in jail last week during a fight with another inmate in Fulton County jail.
“In court now,” an Atlanta Objective reporter wrote. “I am told by the mother of Deamonte [Kendrick] – Yak Gotti – that someone tried to stab him Saturday in the Fulton County Jail.”
Gotti is in jail without bond on murder, gang and racketeering charges. During his bond hearing, the prosecutor argued that he was a threat to potential witnesses and told the judge that the rapper, born Deamonte Kendrick, had pled guilty to conspiracy to commit the murder of Donovan “Big Nut” Thomas.

The latter detail fueled rumors that he ratted out YSL Duke, who was also charged in connection to the murder. Once court was adjourned, Kendrick managed to hit up his Instagram timeline to shut down the rumors.
Back in June, Gotti shot down rumors that he was cooperating with feds in the sprawling YSL indictments.
“2015 my brudda never did a day in jail because I claimed my shit,” Gotti wrote at the time. “I did four years Fed with no tears. Stop the cap.”
Young Thug and Gunna are still behind bars awaiting trial. Last week, Gunna was denied bond for a third time. Violating RICO carries a maximum of 20 years and a fine that is “greater of $25,000 or three times the amount of pecuniary gain.”
