Drake & OVO Sound Hit Fake Drake With Cease & Desist

Imitation isn’t a form of flattery for Drake. Drake impersonator Izzy Drake, who had been making money off Drake’s likeness, got hit with a cease and desist last Thursday.

The cease and desist entails Izzy stop using Drake’s name, likeness and trademarks, which they claimed were “damaging and defamatory” to the OVO brand.

“Dear IzzyyDrake, this letter serves as a notice of your unauthorized use of the trademark, ‘OVO’ to promote your brand and likeness, as well as your unauthorized fabrication of media which is Per Se damaging and defamatory to our brand.”

The statement continued, “Your conducted actions are unwarranted, unwelcome, and unacceptable. In addition, this shall serve as a pre-suit letter demanding that you provide us written assurance within 7 days that you will cease and desist from making any further factually untrue statements involving OVO Sound and/or Drake, and that you will no longer fabricate media that portrays the aforementioned Trademarks. Thank you for your cooperation.”

Recently, Izzy got the beaten of his life in a celebrity boxing match against M2THAK.

Izzy was originally supposed to fight Lamar Odom … but claims real Drake paid him off NOT to fight, which Lamar has denied. M2thaK came out the gate swinging, connecting plenty of jabs to Izzy’s noggin.

The fight was far from a professional bout, both fighters contributed to their own knockdowns, slipping all over the canvas. But, M2thaK managed to stay consistent for all three rounds … and the refs unanimously handed the dubya to M2thaK — and his fists of fury.

Following the fight, M2thak taunted Izzy with the newest addition to his jewelry collection … the golden Celebrity Boxing championship belt, gloating about how Izzy’s pride got left on the mat.
