Quavo Shuts Down Migos Reunion Possiblity On New Song ‘Greatness’

The Migos hit a rough patch last year with a fall out amongst the trio. At the time, Quavo and Takeoff started performing as a duo and Offset also went solo.

Back in October, Quavo and Takeoff stopped by the Big Facts Podcast ahead of the release of their new album, ‘Only Built For Infinity Links’ and also addressed Migos split.

We want to see our career as a duo because we just came from a loyal family, sh*t that’s supposed to stick together. You know sometimes when sh*t don’t work out, it ain’t meant to be,” Quavo said at the time.

TakeOff added, “We don’t know all answers you feel me. So God know. We pray a lot, and we tell him whatever ain’t right and however you suppose to see it fit. Like you put it back together or however you do it, like we pray so only time will tell. But we always family now, ain’t nothing gonna change.”

After Takeoff’s death in November, Quavo and Offset shared that they would be taking a step back to focus on family. They didn’t confirm or deny whether they were on better terms but fans hoped that was the case.

Unfortunately, there won’t be any sort of Migos reunion in the near future between Quavo and Offset. Quavo revealed on his new song “Greatness” that there is no group without Takeoff. “Came in, swept the game like a storm with the motherfuckin’ flow, n***a, Take’ did that,” he raps. “So don’t ask about the group, he gone, we gone, young n***a, it can’t come back.”

Also, fans are convinced Quavo took a shot at Offset when he rapped, “I can’t kick it with a fake/ And I won’t sleep with the snakes.” Though he didn’t mention names, Quavo previously suggested that there was some level of disloyalty between him and Offset.
