Anita Baker Drops Babyface From Her Tour Due To His Fans Cyberbullying Her

It appears Anita Baker has had enough with the gimmicks.

The singer posted a tweet earlier revealing that she would be removing her special guest, Babyface, from her tour line-up.

This was after enduring various amounts of bullying from his fanbase in silence. Anita claims she has been experiencing cyber bullying, verbal abuse, and threats of violence.

If you remember, we recently posted a previous tweet from Anita yesterday where she seemingly hinted that Babyface ‘hates’ Beyoncé.

Shortly after, she made a follow-up tweet asking Babyface to respectfully get his fans in order, calling them “online bullies”.

Babyface has now reacted to the removal. “I am saddened by the news that Anita has decided to remove me from “The Songstress Tour.” It’s unfortunate and disheartening to see how things played out via social media. While I was looking forward to the rest of the dates,” he wrote.

“I have nothing but love and respect for Anita and I wish her the best in the remainder of her tour,” he added.
