Megan Thee Stallion Says 1501 Is Lying About Kelsey’s Boyfriend Never Being An Employee

There’s been an update in the court case between Megan Thee Stallion and record label Certified Ent. 1501.

And it appears Megan Thee Stallion is not backing down. In her new filing, Megan is reportedly issuing a subpoena to Darien Smith.

Darien Smith is her ex-bestie Kelsey Harris’, boyfriend. It looks like Meg is determined to get to the bottom of this as she allegedly wants to obtain a deposition from Smith through the subpoena rather than attempting to schedule it with 1501.

Now if you remember, Megan Thee Stallion initially wanted a deposition from Smith as she believes, after holding an executive position with 1501, he had relevant information for the trial coming up on August 7th.

1501 later denied Meg’s accusations after releasing a statement defending the fact that Smith no longer works with the record label.

They further explained that there is a Darien present on their team but he is a completely different person and claimed that Megan seems to have mixed the two up and that Smith was never employed with them.

Well, according to Meg, there are allegedly numerous articles that listed Smith as an employee of 1501, which is why she asked for a deposition from Smith to begin with.
