Cardiologist Says Cardiac Arrest Incident Could Break Bronny James’ Career
We previously reported that LeBron James’ son, Bronny, suffered from cardiac arrest during practice at USC.
Now, a New York cardiologist has spoken out about the negative impact this health incident could have on the future of Bronny’s career in basketball.
According to the Daily Mail, Dr. Christopher Tanayan said this in a statement today, “If they find something that puts him at a high risk for sudden death then that … may make or break his career.”

Bronny James committed to USC last fall to join the Trojans and start his college career, but now everything he’s worked for could be over.
Dr. Christopher Tanayan went on to say, “Whether or not Bronny’s career can continue will depend on his family, the league and ultimately his own appetite for risk.”
At this month’s ESPY Awards, LeBron James accepted the award for best recording-breaking performance from his sons, Bronny and Bryce.
During the awards show, Buffalo Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin presented the Pat Tillman Service Award to his team’s training staff, which saved his life after he suffered cardiac arrest during a Monday Night Football game in January.
