Sasha Skare Sentenced To 55 Years In Prison For Murdering Beyonce’s Cousin, Kardone

A woman who was accused of fatally shooting Beyoncé’s cousin has finally been convicted for her crime.

According to multiple reports, 24-year-old Sasha Skare was sentenced to 55 years in prison for shooting Kardone, who’s real name is Martell DeRouen, inside of his apartment in 2021.

It’s important to note that Skare claimed Kardone attacked her and she shot him in self defense. However, she wasn’t able to prove that in court,

Witnesses present for the hearing say she showed no emotion as the verdict was read. Kardone was 34-years-old at the time of his death.

Skare denied a plea deal that would’ve given her 20 years in prison as opposed to the 55 she received Friday. Kardone’s parents were pleased they have some type of justice.
