Houston Rockets Guard Kevin Porter Jr. Accused Of Being Down-Low After Being Arrested For Strangling His Girlfriend

According to multiple reports, Houston Rockets guard Kevin Porter Jr., was arrested in NYC Monday for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, a former WNBA player.

Cops received a phone call about the 23-year-ball player at 6:30 a.m. When officers arrived to the hotel, they found Porter’s 26-year-old girlfriend Kysre Gondrezick, who previously played for the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky teams, “with a cut on her face and suffering neck pain.”

She was allegedly sleeping when she woke up to him hitting and choking her.

Kysre’s sister, Kalabrya Gondrezick-Haskins, who was married to the now deceased Dwayne Haskins, seemingly posted Kevin Porter’s phone number which was saved as “Kevin “Down Low” Porter Jr.”

In a now deleted post, she warned him to “count his days.”

Bryan Kevin Porter Jr. (born May 4, 2000), also known by his initials KPJ, is a professional basketball player for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the USC Trojans.

On October 17, 2022, Porter agreed on a four-year, $82.5 million contract extension with the Rockets. On March 23, 2023, he recorded his second triple double with 14 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in a 130–125 loss against Memphis.
