Selena Gomez Responds To Claims She Frowned When Chris Brown’s Name Was Mentioned At The VMAs

Selena Gomez is speaking out after social users noticed she made a frowned face when Chris Brown’s name was mentioned during a nominees listing at the VMAs.

Chris was nominated for his collab with Chloe Bailey, “How Does It Feel.”

In an Instagram post Selena wrote, again. “I will never be a meme again. I’d rather sit still than be dragged for being myself. Much love.”

Breezy hasn’t reacted to the video, we could only imagine what his clap back would’ve been had she not cleared it up.

In February 2009, Chris physically assaulted his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, 35. A domestic violence case was brought against the singer after he attacked Rihanna in their car, causing facial injuries so severe that she required hospital treatment.

Chris pleaded guilty to a charge of felony assault and was sentenced to five years of probation, one year of domestic violence counseling, and six months of community service.

He was also handed a five-year restraining order requiring him to remain 50 yards away from Rihanna at all times, reducing it to 10 at public events.
