Brittish Williams Pleads With Judge For Prison Surrender Date To Be Pushed Back

“Basketball Wives” star Brittish Williams is fighting to spend one last Christmas with her 5-year-old daughter before stepping into the slammer.

Per Radar Online, Williams is set to check into prison on December 11 and check out in the next four years.

According to a new motion, she needs to push her surrender date back as she’s the “sole caregiver for her five-year-old daughter.” The TV personality stated her child requires time to process the “upcoming transition” of her imprisonment.

Her lawyer told the judge that her daughter “desperately” wants to enjoy the holidays with her mother, saying it would “mean a great deal for them to have that time together.” Williams’ mother will be taking custody of her daughter as she serves her sentence, but they’re reportedly still searching for a suitable home to reside in.

“Ms. Williams and her mother have been working to find the necessary place,” her lawyer said.

“They believe that she will be able to move in by the end of December. A little more time is needed to get a suitable living space for them. They have been working on it. They will not need more than a 30-day extension to get all of these issues finalized.”

Williams proposed the new surrender date to be January 11, but the judge has yet to decide her fate. Back in October, the 33-year-old pleaded guilty to tax fraud, bank fraud, and insurance fraud and was ordered to pay $564k in restitution.
