Kanye West Takes ‘No Responsibility’ For Boosie’s Music Genre
Kanye West Responds To Boosie Badazz Diss, Takes No Responsibility For His Music Genre
Kanye West recently made some bold claims during his latest interview on Big Boy TV. The rapper and producer said he invented every style of music in the past 20 years, citing his influence on some of the big names in the music industry.
“I invented every style of music of the past 20 years. I created the genre. I created The Weeknd genre, Trav, Drake… Everybody. I’m gonna go ahead and say, with all love, Future and Thug also. Because the autotune album. 808s, if you think about it,” Ye said.
“Everybody think about Trav, Weeknd, and Drake, but no one thinks about Future and Thug also. Autotune album. Now everyone, they added what it was to it. But here’s a new genre. It’s called the ‘making your own money’ genre,” he added.

Not long after the interview was released, Boosie Badazz hopped on Instagram to dispute Kanye, claiming that the controversial rapper is in no way responsible for his music.
“NOT ALL GENRES NOT EVERY STYLE,” he said. “NOT BOOSIE MUSIC. YOU CAN’T RELATE TO NOTHING I RAP ABOUT R YOUR MUSIC. NOBODY LISTENS TO KANYE IN THE PROJECTS R THE TRENCHES IM, A GON HEAD N SAY IT ‘ MY PEOPLE DO NOT RELATE TO YOU.'”
Ye caught up with Boosie’s diss and has now responded, making sure to hit back although subliminally.
“I JUST SAW THAT ‘WIPE ME DOWN’ WAS MADE IN 2007,” Kanye wrote on his Instagram Story some hours ago. “I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHATEVER THAT GENRE WOULD BE CALLED.”
