Controversial conservative commentator Candace Owens and The Daily Wire have parted ways after weeks of tension with the outlet’s co-founder Ben Shapiro over the Israel-Hamas war and her promotion of numerous conspiracy theories.

‘Daily Wire and Candace Owens have ended their relationship,’ CEO Jeremy Boreing announced on X formerly Twitter on Friday morning.

Candace reacted to the news saying, ‘The rumors are true – I am finally free.’ The 34-year-old then shared her personal website for those who want to support her work and teased ‘many announcements in the weeks to come,’ saying she will bring back her show on YouTube after a short break.

Owens was fired after weeks of scandals surrounding the controversial conservative, who recently has launched a campaign alleging that France’s first lady Brigitte Macron is a transgender. Candace has also been embroiled in heated online debates with several members of the Jewish community who she claims are targeting her for being a Christian.

She endorsed a centuries-old conspiracy theory about Jewish rabbis drinking the blood of Christians on X last week. Candace has branded herself as an outspoken critic of Israel and then later the Jewish people in the aftermath of the October 7 terrorist attack. In November, she mistakenly claimed that Muslims in the Israeli capital of Jerusalem are confined to the Muslim Quarter and then feuded with her Jewish colleague Ben Shapiro over the war between Israel and Hamas.

“You cannot serve both God and money,” Candace, who recently revealed why she married a White man, said what was widely viewed as an anti-Semitic shot at Shapiro.

She as well blamed rising levels of anti-Semitism on “political Jews” and said that there was a “small ring of specific people” in Hollywood and potentially Washington, D.C. who are “using the fact that they are Jewish to shield themselves from any criticism.” “All of us Black, Spanish, Jewish, Chinese, Japanese, all Americans should want answers because this appears to be something that is quite sinister,” Owens concluded.
