Drake Calls Out Audience’s Dull Response To Lil Wayne ‘Big As The What?’ Tour Set

Drake got fans hyped up when he walked out to Future’s song “My Savages” at his show in Sunrise, Florida on Saturday. However, he wasn’t impressed by the audience’s lackluster response to Lil Wayne’s first set as a co-headliner on the It’s All a Blur – Big As the What? Tour.

The show marked Lil Wayne’s first of six nights alongside Drake and J. Cole as the tour comes to an end. Drizzy didn’t his the fact that he wasn’t happy with the audience’s dull response to Wayne set.

Mid the rap legend’s performance, Drake came on stage to admonish the crowd. “Naw, naw, naw, ‘cuz look,” the Toronto superstar said while running to the stage. “These are my favorite moments in life right now. Ay, Florida. From the top of the mountain emerges the motherf*cking greatest of all time. If y’all don’t make some fucking noise for my brother Lil Wayne!” he added.

The clip was reposted on The Neighborhood Talk Instagram page and people have few things to say about it. “Them kids don’t understand,” someone commented. “I respect Drake for that don’t play with the greatest rapper to ever grace a microphone,” another person wrote.

“Put some respect on Wayne!!!!” someone else penned. “Drake concerts are full of kids now, and I don’t like that,” a fourth user shared and a fifth person added, saying: “Wayne Gotta Get Back In His Bag Cause The Younger Crowd Ain’t Hip Frfr.”

Wayne will headline five of the final six shows, with one more date in Sunrise before Cole and Drizzy hit New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Drake and his mentor / collaborator performed a few of their most popular songs before Aubrey finished his hefty set list. This was the first tour date since Future and Metro Boomin released their album “We Don’t Trust You,” which has couple shots aimed at the “God’s Plan” hitmaker.
