Ed Sheeran Tells The Mom Of His Nigerian Friend Demztv To Shut Up So He Can Sing

A video is currently making rounds online, showing the moment Ed Sheeran told a Nigerian mom to shush so he can sing.

Apparently, popular YouTuber Demztv invited Ed Sheeran home and during the singer’s time at his place, he decided to sing but Demztv’s mom was talking so he told her to shush.

The Nigerian mother was shocked and couldn’t believe she heard him correctly. “Did I get that English right.. Demz what did he say?” she asked her son. “He said I should be quiet… in my house.. I should be quiet,” she said in amusement. “Yeah.. yeah,” the singer replied.

“He didn’t mean it like that,” Demz interrupted. “I asked her to be quiet,” the confused singer said. “You’re saying it again.. that’s very disrespectful.. do you know what you just said.. I should shush my mouth,” she continued in disbelief.

“He’s a superstar mom,” Demz protested. “Superstar my a**,” she fired back. “Superstar telling me I should be quiet.”

The video has since gone viral on social media, garnering lots of reactions from folks online. “She said was that English cuz who you playin wit,” someone commented. “I started getting nervous soon as she said “in my house ” he bouta get the chancla right upside the head,” another person wrote.

“At least he lived to tell his story he should be grateful,” someone else penned. “Nigerian Mom?!?!? Might as well start the funeral arrangements now,” a fourth person added.
