Popular R&B singer Monica and her former husband Shannon Brown separated months back over alleged infidelity.

Monica and former NBA player Shannon Brown got married around November 2010 and the couple split up in March this year, ending their 8 years marriage.

Monica and Shannon share a 5-year-old daughter named Laiyah, and Monica also has two sons (Rocko and Romelo) from a previous relationship.

Although, the two have separated, Monica revealed that they still live together, co-parenting their children. Saying that, fans started speculating that the two might be planning on reconciling.

But Shannon Brown just put an end to the hope of them reconciling. The NBA baller plans on giving away his wedding ring to one of his Instagram followers.

He announced that he’s giving the diamond encrusted ring as giveaway on his instagram page.
