Akon Defends Tekashi 6ix9ine “You Really Can’t Blame Him”
Akon Reacts To Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Snitching Spree
Tekashi 6ix9ine was labeled as the ‘bastard of the Hip Hop culture’ and have been seemingly condemned by Hip Hop heads for snitching during his court trial.
6ix9ine went on a snitching spree, throwing his homies under the bus and even name dropping fellow rappers like Cardi B, Jim Jones and Trippie Redd.
He’s expected to leave jail by next month, and there have been lots of speculations about his life after prison, if he’ll be accepted or not.
But surprisingly, the rainbow haired rapper has copped a multi million dollar record deal from jail and reportedly working on his album.
Tekashi is beginning to get support from the hip hop world as rapper Casanova named him the no. 1 artist in the world and Sean Diddy is also rumored to be planning on managing him after leaving jail.
During a recent interview with Capital Xtra, “Gunshot” singer Akon touched on exactly what he thinks of the Tekashi trial, noting that the rapper might have actually done the right thing.
“With Tekashi it’s a little different because he comes from a generation that really didn’t have no moral ethic,” said the 46-year-old. “I can’t really speak on why he would do that, but most likely it’s for the obvious reasons.”
“But everyone goes through something in their lives that propels them to do things that they feel is in the best interest of themselves. And I think, you really can’t blame him, if what he’s saying is the truth.”
