Bernie Sanders has been finding his name in the entertainment world lately and it’s for nothing other than his interest in the niche.

The senator is one of the aspiring candidates in the Democratic primaries against the upcoming presidential election.

Bernie Sanders has been linked with Cardi B and reports also has it that she’ll be in his campaign video.

The senator recently sat down with Desus & Mero for an interview that went outside the norm. He was immediately asked who his favorite rapper is and not surprisingly, he said Killer Mike.

Of course, Killer Mike has been a huge supporter of Sanders and the two have been seen together on numerous occasions. Sanders also gave a shoutout to Cardi B as the two sat down together for an interview.

Bernie Sanders also talked about his plan on legalizing marijuana which is one of the challenges in the country presently.

“Under the controlled substances act, marijuana is at the same level as heroin, which is insane,” Sanders said.

“So we take it out of that, which essentially legalizes marijuana all over this country. And the second thing we do is move to expunge the records of those people who have been arrested for marijuana.”
