The audience states that this machine was only the result of improvements to the previous models of the company, but the CEO of the corporation did not agree with this judgment. Moreover, he considers this car the main model of aesthetics.

A key feature of the most expensive car produced by Bugatti is that the developers used a special engine. For the past five years, it has been the honors of all the corporation’s cars.

Nothing is known about the maximum speed of the novelty and other similar details. But, according to the developers, the most expensive car in the world from Bugatti should be used not for motor racing, and for driving at a calm pace. From a stand-still, it can hit 60 mph in 2.5 seconds with a top speed of 261 mph as reported by Business Insider.

Before that, the most expensive car was the Rolls Royce Sweptail. The car from Bugatti costs much less. But, it should be noted that the main cost of the car was not included taxes. Many claim that the car does not reach the value at which it was sold. It may be, but the fact remains that Bugatti has produced the most expensive car in the world.

Bugatti began preparing the public for the show long before the premiere at the Geneva Motor Show. Countless press communiques told in detail about the history of the Bugatti 57SC Atlantic car, in particular – the personal car of Jean Bugatti, the son of the owner of the company and a talented designer, who, alas, passed away early.

That coupe, painted black, was known by the nickname La Voiture Noire, that is, in French simply “Black car.” The same name and debutant Geneva: meet – Bugatti La Voiture Noire.

According to the official version, the original car based on the bugatti Chiron coupe was ordered by a fan of the Bugatti 57SC Atlantic model. That car has a non-trivial design, and Jean Bugatti’s personal car also has an amazing story.

When German troops occupied Alsace, where Bugatti was based, the coupe with broken chassis numbers was sent to Bordeaux. But his traces were lost somewhere on the road: since then the car has been searched for a long time and without success, but could not find.

According to experts, this car would have cost fabulous money these days if found earlier. For example, the famous fashion designer Ralph Lauren, who owns one of the four released Atlantic, is rumored to have refused to give up his car for 100 million dollars. The new Bugatti La Voiture Noire is cheaper, but even the company’s stated 11 million euros is a record amount for a modern new car.

However, if all 40 copies of the exclusive Bugatti Divo coupe at a price of five million euros were sold out before the premiere, is it any wonder such a price tag? Although technically it is the same Bugatti Chiron with an eight-liter W16 engine with a capacity of 1500 hp, only with a unique, lovingly redesigned body in the style of the historical model.

However, the company does not publish a photo of the cabin – it is possible that the interior of the “Black Car” is much richer than the almost serial interior of the Divo coupe. By the way, so far we are talking only about one copy of La Voiture Noire: about the possibility of releasing at least a small batch in the company are silent.

Designer Etienne Salome, who worked on the machine, does not hide his pride in his work: “What can be considered a great job, if not La Voiture Noire?” After all, according to rumors, now the company is working on a super-luxury sedan. Presumably, this car will be named Royale in honor of the grandiose model Bugatti 41 Royale, released in eight copies. Waiting for the 20 million euro target to reach?
