Yo Gotti Losts $1 Million Gambling At Jay Z’s Event
It was a star-studded event at the inaugural Shawn Carter Foundation Gala Weekend. Shawn “Jay Z” Carter and his mother Gloria Carter hosted the charity event in Hollywood, Florida.
Beyoncé, Meek Mill, Yo Gotti, Fat Joe, Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, Tyler Perry, Robin Roberts, and other celebrities showed up to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
It was reported that a sum of $6 Million was raised for the funding of post-secondary educational opportunities for future scholars.

Unfortunately for Yo Gotti, $1 million from the $6 million raised came from him. The rapper allegedly lost a million dollars while gambling at the event.
Everyone paid a sum of $100,000 entry fee to gamble which most of them reportedly lost before they stopped gambling. But Yo Gotti went hard thinking luck was on his side only to end up being the master fund raiser.

All proceeds from the Gala Weekend will benefit SCF’s scholarship fund, college prep workshops and bus tours, study abroad opportunities, and community goodwill programs for youth and families in need.
