Mississippi Prisoner Hangs Himself As Inmates Livestream It
A saddening incident happened in Mississippi prison when a prisoner hung himself while other inmates livestream it.
It’s becoming alarming that the first thing people do in a tragic incident is to bring out their phones to record.
While the prisoner hung himself, it’s a thing of shame that his fellow inmates live stream it Instead of calling for help. Although The Leflore County Technical Violations Center does NOT allow inmates to have cameraphones or internet access.
But many inmates break the rules. In fact there are huge number of inmates in the facility with active IG pages, and thousands of followers.
The inmate who hanged himself this weekend was imprisoned at the Leflore County Technical Violations Center. He is the second inmate – in a little more than a month – that was suspiciously found hanged inside his cell.
Last month Mark Anthony Dowdin, 36, was found hanging in his cell. According to an incident report from the Greenwood Police Department, officers received a call around 7 p.m. Dec. 4 in reference to a suicide attempt at the correctional facility.
Two officers found Dowdin lying on the floor of a cell. MedStat personnel were unsuccessfully trying to revive him.
Dowdin’s family have come forward to question his death, they suspect foul play in his hanging and possible murder.
