K Michelle Shares Her Thought On New R&B Artists

R&B songs are regarded as the best soul music for years and it potency has been kept alive by new generation of artists. But K Michelle thinks they’ve killed R&B.

Veteran R&B artists like Frank Ocean, Chris Brown, Trey Songz, The Weekend, Beyonce, R Kelly to mention a few are one of those who took the music industry by storm.

Not to forget the likes of John Legend, The Weekend, Alicia Keys, Drake and more who also contributed greatly to R&B.

Well, popular R&B singer K Michelle who was once a reality star on VH1’s hit series Love and hip-hop has taken time to lash out at the set of new R&B artists. And according to her, their music has no soul and it’s very boring.

Michelle did compared it to a lullaby because it makes her fall sleep whenever she’s listening to new school R&B songs.

“Up early listening to new R&B artist and this is the best way to fall asleep, this shit has no soul and it boring. It plays like one big lullaby. I’m so confused by it,” she tweeted.

Although she noted that there are some good singles out there but their album lacks hard work.

“There are some really good singles I hear though, but the albums lack hard work and more like the less the better im guessing. I guess,” she added.
