Will Smith Admits He Was Jealous Of Jada Pinkett’s Love For Tupac
Will Smith Says He Regrets Being Jealous Of Jada Pinkett & Tupac
Famous actor Will Smith recently admitted that he was once jealous of the love his now-wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, shared with her childhood friend, Tupac Shakur.
The Breakfast Club recently hosted Will Smith and his Bad Boys 3 co-star, Martin Lawrence to promote the movie.
And when he was asked whether he’d ever felt insecure about Jada and Pac’s close relationship, he replied :
“Ahh, f*ck yeah. Oh, my God! Dude! And that was in the early days. And it was like… that was a big regret for me too cause I could never open up to interact with Pac. You know, we had a little bit of a thing because they grew up with each other.”
He continued; “They loved each other but they never had a sexual relationship. But they had come into that age where that was a possibility and then Jada was with me.”
“So, Pac had a little thing on that. But she just loved him. He was the image of perfection but she was with the Fresh Prince. We were in the room together a couple times, I couldn’t speak to him. And he wasn’t gon’ speak to me if I wasn’t going to speak to him.”
Rapper Tupac was shot dead in 1996, a year after Will and Jada began dating, so the two never hashed out their differences. He admits that there was tension between him and Pac.
