Donald Trump Warns That 52 Iranian Sites Have Been Targeted
It’s getting really hot now between The United States and Iran following President Trump attack order on Iran which left their top General Qassem Soleimani dead.
According to President Trump, he ended the reign of a terror and stopped a war from happening. “We take comfort in knowing that his reign of terror is over,” Trump said of Soleimani.
“We took action last night to stop a war. We did not take action to start a war,” President Trump said, adding that he does not seek regime change in Iran.
Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, vowed “harsh retaliation” after the airstrike, calling Soleimani the “international face of resistance.” Khamenei declared three days of public mourning and appointed Maj. Gen. Esmail Ghaani, Soleimani’s deputy, to replace him as head of the Quds Force.
As reported by USNews, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani called the killing a “heinous crime” and said his country would “take revenge.” Iran twice summoned the Swiss envoy, the first time delivering a letter to pass to Washington.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif called the U.S. attack a “cowardly terrorist action” and said Iran has the right to respond “in any method and any time.“
Well, Trump has since responded to the threats made by Iran. He took to twitter to give a very harsh warning that 52 Iranian sites has been targeted representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago.
“Iran is talking very boldly about targeting certain USA assets as revenge for our ridding the world of their terrorist leader who had just killed an American, & badly wounded many others, not to mention all of the people he had killed over his lifetime, including recently hundreds of Iranian protesters.”
“He was already attacking our Embassy, and preparing for additional hits in other locations. Iran has been nothing but problems for many years,” he tweeted.
“Let this serve as a WARNING that if Iran strikes any Americans, or American assets, we have targeted 52 Iranian sites (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago), some at a very high level & important to Iran & the Iranian culture, and those targets, and Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD. The USA wants no more threats!” Trump continued.
In addition to that, President Trump made it clear that the United States are fully prepared for war if Iran tries to retaliate.
“The United States just spent Two Trillion Dollars on Military Equipment. We are the biggest and by far the BEST in the World! If Iran attacks an American Base, or any American, we will be sending some of that brand new beautiful equipment their way…and without hesitation!”
