Rapper DaBaby might be facing the consequences of his actions.. ‘alleged’. About a month ago, he was arrested over his alleged involvement in a robbery.
The rapper was arrested for his alleged involvement in a robbery in Florida. The alleged victim is a concert promoter who said that he was planning a birthday bash for DaBaby’s artist Stunna 4 Vegas.
DaBaby reportedly agreed to do the event for $30K but once he met with the promoter, he received $20K with the other $10K set to be handed over to him after the show was done.
Eventually, he and his crew allegedly jumped the man and robbed him of $80, a credit card, and an iPhone 7.
The Bop rapper was released the following day. But the victim has filed a lawsuit and TMZ has gotten hold of the documents detailing the compensation that the victim is seeking for his beating.
The promoter whose name is Kenneth Carey, is suing DaBaby, his crew and his entertainment company for “well above $6 million” for battery, breach of contract, defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
