Drake Vows Next Album Will Be Realistic & Shorter Than “Scorpion”
Fans have been patiently anticipating Drake’s next album and he has dropped a hint on what to expect on his upcoming project which will most likely drop this year.
Drizzy’s forthcoming album will be a follow up to ‘Scorpion’ which has 25 tracks. But according to him, his next project will be shorter.
Champagne Papi was recently chilling courtside at the Toronto Raptors-Phoenix Suns game on Friday where he spoke to TSN announcers about what has been going on in his life recently. As we could have suspected, Drake has been busy cooking up his sixth studio album, which he hopes to keep compact.
“I’ve been doing this for like 10+ years as well… Sometimes you need to set a target goal for yourself just to keep it interesting,” the ‘God’s Plan’ crooner shared.
“Last album, I went high volume. I did two sides. It was like 20-something songs, which is a lot of songs. This album I’ll probably make it more of a realistic offering. Something more concise. It could be 10, 11 songs – 16.”
Drake says he’s having fun making new music and his new album will be more realistic with the amount of songs vs. Scorpion that had 25 songs. pic.twitter.com/WCzJrYWKoi
