Pop Smoke’s Death Investigation Reportedly Hits Roadblock
There are lots of speculations after Pop Smoke was tragically shot and killed in a home invasion robbery at his rented house in the upscale Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles.
Four masked men broke into the rapper’s rental home, fired multiple shots at the man before leaving on foot.
While there haven’t been any confirmation yet whether his death was some random robbery or a targeted hit as CCTV footage shows none of the masked men leaving the scene with any of his properties, TMZ has provided us with more information.

On Saturday February 29, TMZ gives another update and according to the outlet, their “law enforcement sources”revealed that the investigation isn’t moving forward because “detectives have his a road block… specifically with regard to witness testimony.” They report that people are “simply refusing to talk” with authorities.
TMZ added that witness stories have changed throughout the investigation and “because nobody was outside or nearby Pop’s house when the crime occurred … they have no neutral witnesses.” Apparently, time was wasted looking into social media leads that weren’t viable.
Additionally, they’ll media outlet shared that their sources insist that this was a “targeted hit” but investigators are struggling to identify a motive.
