Fans have been speculating on who would dethrone Roddy Ricch from the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 after so many failed attempt to get him off the spot.
Roddy Ricch’s ‘The Box‘ off his “Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial” album has been making waves ever since its release, sitting comfortably at the No. 1 spot for weeks.
After being at the top for eleven weeks, The Weeknd “Blinding lights” has dethrone Roddy Ricch. moving “The Box” to the runner-up spot as Abel Tesfaye enjoys his fifth-ever chart-topping single.
The Weeknd has also set a new record as he becomes the only artist to earn new No. 1 singles in the 2010s and 2020s.
In other news, Roddy Ricch “The Box” became the third solo rap song to spend over ten weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100, giving the Compton rapper a spot in history.
