Vaping To Blame For Deadly Coronavirus Cases In Young People – Report
Vaping Is An Underlying Factor For Deadly Coronavirus Cases In Young People
The increase in number of Coronavirus cases in US is becoming frightening. Over the weekend, Trump declared New York City a disaster as the Army moves in over COVID-19 outbreak in the state.
To be specific, the alarming number of cases of coronavirus increase is in young people who don’t have underlying conditions, doctors are starting to believe that vaping could be responsible for the serious cases.
According to reports, Doctors began studying the theory last week after the US Centers for Disease Control reported that 20% of people who have been hospitalized with the coronavirus are between the ages of 20 and 44.
Stanton Glantz, director of the Center for Tobacco Research Control said in a statement : “When someone’s lungs are exposed to flu or other infections the adverse effects of smoking or vaping are much more serious than among people who do not smoke or vape.”
Glantz added that the effects of vaping could seriously compromise the immune system and negatively impact someone’s ability to fight off infections and viruses.
Surprising or not?
#COVID19 cases in US for ages 20 to 44 up to 705.
Just a thought:

Glantz also told CNN that : “Reporting of respiratory symptoms by e-cigarette users suggests increased susceptibility to and/or delayed recovery from respiratory infections.”
“Vaping affects your lungs at every level. It affects the immune function in your nasal cavity by affecting cilia which push foreign things out…[T]he ability of your upper airways to clear viruses is compromised.”
