Westside Gunn Claims His Album Is Better Than DaBaby’s
Westside Gunn Insists “Pray For Paris” Is Greater Than “Blame It On Baby”
DaBaby released his new album “Blame It On Baby” last week. Another Hip Hop project dropped the same week, Westside Gunn “Pray For Paris” hit streaming platforms same week as DaBaby’s.
DaBaby’s album features a list of big stars to help him out. The surprise project includes assists from Roddy Ricch, Youngboy Never Broke Again, Ashanti, Megan Thee Stallion, Future, and more.
Features on ‘Pray For Paris’ ranged from cover designer Virgil Abloh, to Tyler The Creator, Alchemist, DJ Premier and Jay Versace behind the boards. Guest verses from Freddie Gibbs, Wale, Tyler, Benny The Butcher, Conway, and Joey Bada$$.

The two projects have drawn comparison from Hip Hop critics, and it appears Westside Gunn’s ‘Pray For Paris’ has garnered much more positive reviews than DaBaby’s. ‘Blame It On Baby’ was heavily criticized on twitter after the release as fans seem to be disappointed with the body of work.
Although DaBaby’s album was able to pull 25 million streams on Spotify in the first half hour of its release, ‘Blame It On Baby’ proved underwhelming for many Hip Hop fans.

Bitch had 25 million streams on @spotify first in the first 30 minutes 🤦🏾♂️ #BlameItOnBaby
Westside Gunn took to social media on Saturday to share a meme made at Baby’s expense that positions ‘Pray For Paris’ as greater than ‘Blame It On Baby’, asking fans to “change my mind.”
“Good Morning #PrayforParis,” Gunn tweeted, along with some laughing emojis. The Dreamville rapper also shared the same meme on his Instagram story. DaBaby is yet to respond to the comparison.
