Carl Crawford Speaks Out For The First Time After The Incident At His House

1501 Entertainment CEO Carl Crawford, made controversial headlines after week ago, after a woman and her child died inside his Houston home. The two drowned inside the baseball player’s pool.

Carl Crawford who is also known for being Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada’s baby’s father, hosted a small party at his north Houston home. Among the guests were a woman and her toddler son.

At one point during the party, the toddler wandered off and fell into his swimming pool. The woman reportedly went in after to save him. Unfortunately, neither the toddler nor his mom could swim, and so they both drowned.

According to reports, when Carl found them lifeless in the pool, he tried reviving them. But Evelyn’s baby father was unsuccessful. Paramedics arrived and tried life-saving measures themselves, but it was too late both died.

The label CEO and former Major League Baseball star has finally issued a statement regarding the incident.

“My heart’s heavy, the tragic incident that happened in my home will be with me forever. I’m at loss of words, I’ve been struggled all week to manage my emotions and I have been thinking about the families of those who’ve passed and their grief,” he wrote.

“I know they have it the hardest. They are the first and last thing I think of these days. Please keep them in your prayers, I know they will always be in mine.” he concluded.
