Chance The Rapper Compares Black Men To White Women In A Controversial Political Approach
Couple of weeks back, Chance The Rapper chimed into J Cole and Noname’s mild misunderstanding that birth tracks from both sides. Siding with Noname, Chance The Rapper took straight shots at Cole, giving the Dreamville an ‘L’ over “Snow On Da Bluff” track.
“Yet another L for men masking patriarchy and gaslighting as contructive criticism,” the Chicago rapper tweeted and was however dragged for it.
Apparently, Chance The Rapper still have more to let out his chest. He recently claimed that Black men are the main “oppressors” of the Black community. The rapper posted his controversial political position on Twitter yesterday.
According to a quote that Chance re-tweeted, “Back men may be victimized by racism, but sexism allows them to act as exploiters and oppressors of women.”
Chance’s position, held by many feminists, has been criticized as “disingenuous” by many in the Black community. Many believe that this position distracts people from discussing the very real issues of racial injustice.
And most of the people circulating Chance’s arguments since the Black Lives Matter Movement took off – have been White supremacists. Here’s the controversial tweet :

Male privilege is real. We live in a patriarchy. This post promotes a false equivalency between Black men and White women. I’ve never seen a white woman hanging from a tree. As Black men we want to build the Black family not exploit it. We have a lot of work to do.

Nigga really just compared a black man as being the same class as a white woman. 👎🏽

And this is why we say #THOSE straight black men are the white people of black people

That’s a ridiculous statement. That type of rhetoric is a reason why Black men & women no longer communicate. If WE are fighting for equality, and WE want change the WE must understand that, while specifics may differ, the goals are the same. Vilifying black men isn’t the answer

It’s disrespectful that we’re being compared to white women Despite being the most targeted group in the U.S and being killed by the people who suppose to protect us the most. I understand the concept but it’s not it.
