Lil Wayne Tells Jack Harlow That Tory Lanez Had The Best Verse On “What’s Poppin Remix”

Fast rising Louisville Kentucky rapper Jack Harlow, is currently making waves and appears to be the next big thing in the Industry. His recent single “What’s Popping” has obviously propelled him to the mainstream.

The song has since gone viral and is now used as the background sound in most of the TikTok viral videos. However, Jack Harlow delivered the remix to his hit track earlier this week.

The remix included verses from some of the industry’s very best, Lil Wayne, DaBaby, and Tory Lanez, and subsequently, Harlow was a guest on this week’s episode of “Young Money Radio” where Wayne revealed who he thinks has the best verse on the remix.

Weezy initially asked who Jack Harlow looked up to in the rap game and the youngin named Lil Wayne, Andre 3000, and Drake as influences. Jack Harlow then asked the veteran rapper who he thought had the best verse on the “What’s Poppin (Remix).”

“I ain’t gon’ front, Tory went crazy. I don’t wanna say I had any expectations, but I guess, I know Tory. I know the look he be wanting and I know sometimes he don’t get that look from everybody. He don’t get that ear from everybody. So when he get a good look and he get a good ear, I love that for him,” Wayne said.

“Yeah, his verse was hard. Did you, um, did you hear my verse? It was the first one,” Harlow queried. Lil Wayne then replied, “Mmhmm” before Harlow pushed further, “You sure about Tory being the best one?” “I’m giving the man props!” Wayne replied laughing.
