Marcus Rashford Inks Deal With Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports

Hip Hop OG and business mogul, Jay Z, has been making power moves for over a decade with multiple investments in all corners of the entertainment industry. And in recent times, he’s been diving into the sporting world.

Couple of months back, HOV signed all three Ball Brothers Lonzo, LiAngelo, and LaMelo Ball to representation deals with Roc Nation Sports.

And now, Roc National is moving into soccer partnership, announcing that they are signing sensational  Manchester United and England striker Marcus Rashford.

Rashford recently made headlines with his free meal vouchers program for disadvantaged British children. According to reports, Marcus deal with Roc Nation was signed in April, but has just recently been announced to the public.

“We look for those figures who stand for something beyond just the sport that they play. What he did transcended race, transcended any social unrest that we’re experiencing,” Kelly Hogarth, Roc Nation Sports’ director of brand strategy and business communications said.

He continued, “This was a 22-year-old young man who was saying: ‘No child should be going hungry in this country. That is unacceptable.’ Even if you were the meanest person in the world, it was an argument you just couldn’t fight against. He was able to resonate with so many people by just being himself.”
