We reported earlier that Pop Smoke‘s posthumous album ‘Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon’ debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 200. The posthumous album debut makes it Pop’s first ever #1.

Pop now shares the same record with the likes of Tupac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G and XXXTENTACION.




50 Cent who made a great impact in the success of the album as the executive producer, revealed in a recent interview with Billboard that Pop Smoke told him his goal was to bring his mother to an award show.

Apparently, with his posthumous debut album Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon, the business mogul thinks his wish will become reality. Fif spoke about his friendship with Pop Smoke during the discussion with Billboard’s Carl Lamarre.

According to HotNewHipHop, the men talked about the interpolation of “Many Men,” to which the rap legend claimed that it’s time for younger rappers to put their own spin on his older material.




Fif recalled Pop’s funeral and how he lent out his car to the rapper’s family, Fiddy says that he thinks he’ll be able to bring Pop’s mom to an award show, making his dream come true.
