6ix9ine Gives Inside Look At How He Made Record Breaking Music Videos On House Arrest
Tekashi 6ix9ine has been making his music videos in his house amid the Coronavirus lockdown and house arrest. Following his release from prison, the rainbow haired rapper returned to music and has undeniably proven his critics wrong.
He was written off by lots of people and the Hip Hop heads turned their backs on him, some even made it a mission to campaign against him which however proved abortive.
6ix9ine was outed for being a snitch and pedophile but that doesn’t stop his fans from bumping his music and most importantly, he didn’t fail to deliver. His first single post prison release “Gooba” was a record breaker. Smashing Eminem’s YouTube record for the most viewed Hip Hop music video in the first 24 hours.
His follow up track “Trollz” was another smash hit which features his friend, veteran female rapper, Nicki Minaj. Trollz was able to debut at the top spot on Billboard after “Gooba” debuted 3rd.
Tekashi 6ix9ine earned his first ever number one with the track, cementing his name in history. Then, just a few days ago, he dropped a Spanish single called “YAYA,” accompanied by a colorful home made visuals like that of others. He’d confirmed that “YAYA” will be the last home made music video as his house arrest will soon be over.
On Saturday, 69 decided to some BTS footage of him and his team setting up the sets for the home made music videos. “SO HOUSE ARREST IS COMING TO AN END AND I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU TO ALL MY FANS….I CREATED AND BROKE A WHOLE BUNCH OF RECORDS FROM MY LIVING ROOM,” he said.
YAYA WAS THE LAST OF THE HOUSE ARREST SAGA …… I LOVE YOU TO ALL MY FANS..YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST I MADE THE BEST OF WHAT I HAD FROM MY LIVING ROOM AND WE STILL WENT NUMBER 1 WE STILL WENT PLATINUM COMING HOME FROM JAIL I LOVE YOU.”
