Pop Smoke was on his road to stardom with his song buzzing around as the newest superstar, but unfortunately, he life was cut short after invaders shot him dead at his Los Angeles apartment in February.

50 Cent then volunteered to be the executive producer of Pop’s posthumous album and has since kept fans anticipating for the release.




However, there were a bit of drama when the artwork was revealed. Eventually, it was the late rapper’s mom pick that was used for the cover. And the highly anticipated project dropped earlier today, putting fans in a frenzy mode.

On Friday, ‘Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon’ dropped and the 19 tracks body of work featuring top notches including Quavo, Lil Baby, DaBaby, 50 Cent, Roddy Ricch, Future, Swae Lee, Rowdy Rebel, Tyga, Karol G, and King Combs.

Although fans were very excited about the release, the album is subsequently making them feel particularly emotional at the same time. “Popsmoke’s album has me vibing and emotional at the same time #RIPWOO,” a twitter user wrote.




“Me listening to Pop Smoke realizing that this is it, they killed another legend, and we’ll never get a chance to see him perform these songs,” another user tweeted.

And a particular lyric really hit hard off the album. “God gave me a lot in some months, but it could go in a second,” Pop raps on “Tunnel Vision (Outro).
