There have been speculations for years that Jada Pinkett Smith and August Alsina are romantically involved, but it was quickly scrapped based on the perceived connection and loyalty between Jada and her husband, Will Smith.

However, it turned out the rumors are true after August confirmed that he and Jada Pinkett Smith were truly a thing. According to him, they dated for some years before going their separate ways.

Although Jada Pinkett Smith had since denied the claims via her rep, promising to shed more light on the next episode of the Red Table Talk and Will Smith has also denied giving August his blessing, the R&B singer stands on his words from the Angela Yee interview, maintaining that was his truth and will never apologize for it.

Jada Pinkett Smith’s mom, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, also known as Gammy, has officially broken her silence. She recently took to Instagram to advise her fans to stop putting celebrities on a pedestal, noting that they also make mistakes sometimes.

“Get rid of the pedestal you put people on,” said Gammy. “Recognize that people are only people with flaws and imperfections just like you and me. Do that and you’ll be much happier, cause guess what??? They already are!”

While she didn’t directly speak on the issue, folks in her comments section are convinced that she was addressing the alleged extramarital affair.
